Communication Survey

We would like to take the opportunity to find out your communication preferences so as to taylor our communication according to the needs of our members.

At present, we communicate in three ways with our members:

* Email list: This is a moderated (relatively restricted, low traffic) list that provides an electronic forum for the dissemination of information related to the BFE. It is used primarily for official BFE notices posted by the committee, and for announcements of non-BFE conferences and other ethnomusicology-related events that we expect to be of broad interest to our members. * Discussion forum: This is a new initiative, which has been set up for members and friends of the BFE to exchange information and ideas about the study of music and dance from around the world.

* Enews: These are published bi-monthly on our website.

We have set up a very short survey to ascertain your views on communication, and we would like to invite you to vote for your preferred arrangement.
