Members
The British Forum for Ethnomusicology is proud to be home to a vibrant and growing community of academics, scholars and students interested in the field of ethnomusicology. Our members come from all over the world (membership is open to all interested parties anywhere in the world) and have increased steadily over the past few years. According to our latest figures, we have over two hundred overseas and UK members, as well as a substantial and expanding institutional subscriber base.
Members of our association enjoy the following advantages:
- members of the British Forum for Ethnomusicology enjoy preferential rates at BFE conferences;
- members receive free copies of the journal Ethnomusicology Forum (published twice per year) in addition to the BFE Newsletter;
- members have the right to vote and to participate in the activities of the organisation, as well as to submit papers for inclusion in BFE annual conferences;
- members receive discounts on publications and merchandise.
